How to get the most from your Rutherford pieces — and a few honest notes on sensitivities.

Textile care
Our cotton bedding, robes and towels are best washed cold and tumble-dried low, without bleach. Washing before first use is fine and won't harm the weave. Follow the care label on each item.
Sensitivities
Our cottons are produced without chemical bleaching. If you have a known textile sensitivity, we recommend testing the fabric against your skin before extended use. Everyone's skin is different, and we'd rather you check first.
Aromatherapy & oils
Essential oils are concentrated. Keep them away from direct skin and eye contact, out of reach of children and pets, and use only as directed with the diffuser. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Candles & diffusers
Never leave a burning candle or operating diffuser unattended. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from anything flammable.
